Privacy Policy
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
Dayclaim is an alarm app made by [LEGAL NAME], trading as Saano Studio ("we"). This policy explains what Dayclaim does with your information. The short version: Dayclaim has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your alarms and history stay on your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
Dayclaim saves the following only on your device:
- Your alarms, missions, schedules and settings.
- Your wake-up history and streaks.
- A voice message you record as an alarm sound.
- A short clip of a song you pick from Files or your Music library.
- The names of apps you choose to rest, and your Focus and daily limit settings.
We can't see any of this. It's included in your normal iPhone backups (iCloud or your computer), which are protected by Apple. Deleting Dayclaim deletes this data from your iPhone.
Permissions Dayclaim asks for
Dayclaim asks inside the app, and only when a feature needs it. You can say no and still use the alarm.
- Alarms: to schedule alarms that ring even on Silent.
- Camera: to scan the Kitchen QR code. Camera images are used only to read the code and are never saved or sent anywhere. You can type the code instead.
- Motion: to count steps and shakes for those missions. The counts stay on your iPhone.
- Microphone: to record a voice alarm. The recording stays on your iPhone.
- Music library: to pick a song you own as an alarm sound. The clip stays on your iPhone.
- Location (optional): to show today's weather in the morning summary. See below.
- Notifications (optional): for the evening "Ready for tonight?" reminder. These are created on your iPhone.
What goes online: weather and these pages
If you allow location, Dayclaim gets an approximate location from iOS, rounds it to about 1 km, and sends it to Open-Meteo to get today's forecast. Like any website, Open-Meteo also receives your internet (IP) address when the app asks for the forecast. Dayclaim doesn't send your name or any other information with it, and doesn't save your location. Open-Meteo's own privacy policy applies to that request. If you don't allow location, no request is made and the morning summary simply skips the weather.
When you open this policy, the Terms of Use or Support from inside Dayclaim, the app loads them from our website, which is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website, it receives your internet address and basic browser details for that visit. We don't use cookies, analytics or ads on the website. Dayclaim sends nothing else with it.
Purchases
Dayclaim Pro is a one-time purchase through Apple. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card or Apple Account details. The app only learns whether Pro is unlocked on your Apple Account, so it can turn Pro features on.
Sharing
When you share your streak card or a Kitchen QR code, you choose where it goes using the iPhone share sheet. Dayclaim doesn't send it anywhere by itself.
App blocking
When Dayclaim locks apps with Apple's Screen Time features, the apps you choose are kept private by iOS: Dayclaim can apply the lock but can't see which apps you use or for how long. Your choices stay on your iPhone.
Children
Dayclaim is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because Dayclaim doesn't collect personal information, there is nothing about a child for us to hold.
Your choices
- Turn any permission off at any time; the features that need it stop, and the alarm keeps working.
- Delete your data by deleting Dayclaim from your iPhone.
- Since we don't hold your data, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side. If you have a question, contact us below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and show the new version in the app. If a change gives Dayclaim new ways to use your information, we'll ask first.
