Terms of Use

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL NAME], trading as Saano Studio ("we"), about using Dayclaim. By using Dayclaim, you agree to them. Dayclaim is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard License Agreement; these terms add to it. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement wins.

What Dayclaim does

Dayclaim is an alarm that asks you to finish a short mission (like math, steps or scanning a code) before it stops, and can rest chosen apps until you've finished your morning.

Alarms depend on your iPhone

Dayclaim uses iOS to ring. Whether an alarm sounds can depend on things outside our control, such as your iPhone's volume and settings, Focus modes, battery, restarts, iOS updates and hardware buttons. We work hard to make alarms reliable, but we can't guarantee that every alarm will ring or wake you. For anything important, like a flight, an exam, work or medicine, please also set a second alarm you trust.

Missions and safety

  • Do missions in a way that's safe for you. Don't walk for a steps mission where you could trip or in traffic, and hold your phone firmly for a shake mission.
  • The emergency exit is there to stop an alarm without the mission when you need to. Use it whenever you must.
  • Dayclaim is not medical advice and isn't meant to diagnose or treat sleep problems.

App rest and limits

App rest, Night Lock, Focus and daily limits are tools to help you. They aren't parental controls and don't promise to block every app or every way around them. You can always end a lock with the emergency options in the app.

Dayclaim Pro

  • Dayclaim Pro is a one-time purchase through Apple. There's no subscription.
  • New users can try Pro for 7 days. Nothing is charged unless you choose to buy. After the free trial, the free version stays.
  • Payment, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple under its terms. To ask for a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" page.
  • Pro features may change as the app improves; we won't take away the main features you paid for without a fair reason.

Fair use

Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse Dayclaim, or use it to break the law. Dayclaim's name, design and content belong to us.

No warranty and limits on our liability

Dayclaim is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't give warranties beyond those in Apple's Standard License Agreement, and we're not liable for indirect losses, such as a missed appointment, flight or work, that come from an alarm not ringing or the app not working as expected. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms when the app changes. We'll update the effective date and show the new version in the app. You can stop using Dayclaim at any time by deleting it.

Law
